Do the Dallas Cowboys Have a Sean Lee Backup Plan?

Things were looking up for Sean Lee heading into 2019 as he’s willingly taken on the strong side linebacker position and even showed a willingness to play some special teams, allowing Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith to take on the primary roles at linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys. Well, the best-laid plans go to waste as Sean Lee has suffered yet another in a long line of injuries that has kept him off the field.

Per a report from Todd Archer of ESPN, Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett has revealed that Sean Lee has suffered an MCL sprain to his knee.

Per Jason Garrett, the injury will not require surgery and Lee will begin resting and then rehabilitating the injury with the hopes of getting back onto the playing field at some point in 2019.

Lee has dealt with injuries for much of his career and at 32 years old will have to battle back yet again from another serious knee injury.

In 2014, Lee tore his left ACL during training camp and missed the entirety of the 2014 season. That injury was the second to his right knee.

Observers had noted that Sean Lee had bulked up this offseason, looking bigger than he ever had before, in anticipation of taking on the SAM linebacker position full time. In training camp so far, it’s been reported that Lee had added the size without losing his speed and lateral agility, which has made him one of the best linebackers in football when available.

Unfortunately, Sean Lee has been a player that has been more defined by what’s kept him from the field than what he’s done on the field. As one of the leaders of the team, it’s a big blow to the on-field product for the Dallas Cowboys defense. Jaylon Smith and Leighton Vander Esch will have to take on a bigger on-field leadership role for the Cowboys defense to improve upon their stellar 2018 season.

This injury isn’t necessarily the end for Sean Lee, but it’s another in what’s become a plethora of injuries that he’s had to come back from.

After several yrs I chose to leave my old work and it changed my way of living... I commenced working on a job via the internet, for an association I located on the internet, for several hours each day, and I make way more than I did on my previous job... Last pay-check I got was 9k... Superb thing regarding this is the fact I get additional time for my friends and family. Test it, what it is about... tup6.com/el
