Week 15 of the NFL was full of season-ending injuries

1

If you watched football yesterday, you probably heard the news about multiple players getting hurt and unfortunately ending their season, and maybe the start of the 2026 season.

It started with Patrick Mahomes in the early window late in the 4th quarter.

Mahomes suffered the injury during the final drive of Sunday’s game. After trying to extend a play to his right, he threw the ball away just before his left leg was twisted awkwardly as he planted his foot and Chargers defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand brought him down.

This kinda reminds me of the time that Tom Brady suffered his, and he came back and won four more Super Bowls after he tore his ACL in 2008.

Micah Was Next

Yes, I am sure you have heard by now that the former Cowboys star also tore his ACL, and man, that just sucks for him and the Packers, it really does.

Regardless of how you felt about the trade, it just stinks to see this happen to Micah.

Parsons was rushing the passer late in the game as well, and it happened on a noncontact touch.

I saw some ridiculous people on Twitter talking about how they are glad Dallas got rid of Micah now and got the first round pick, blah. No need for that. I hate the Eagles as much as the next guy, but if Barkley or someone was lost to the year I would not be cheering for it, honestly.

I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated. This injury is my greatest testu2014a moment God allowed to strengthen my testimony. I believe He walks with me through this storm and chose me for this fight because He knew my heart could carry it. Iu2019m deeply grateful to the y6TZKJfs

Another injury you probably did not see was suffered by Cardinals WR Andre Baccellia, who had a horrific neck injury that saw him carted off to hospital.

This week was just brutal for all of these players, and it seems we are seeing way more of these, like between the ACL injuries and all the torn achilles from guys like Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins and then this year, from Daniel Jones.

I don’t think anything can fix this stuff, but others say it is playing on grass or turf, but I honestly do not think that it plays that much of a factor. These are happening at such a high rate right now, you hate to see it.

These guys will return at some point in the 2026 season, but who knows when it will be? Never root for an injury of this impact to happen to anyone regardless of who it is and what team he plays for.
