Dak Prescott Ends Challenging Year With Mega Deal 1

There was a time in the offseason for the Dallas Cowboys when whether or not QB Dak Prescott would sign a four- or five-year deal — or any at all — to remain with the team was their biggest concern.

As of Wednesday, Prescott has officially signed both.

Prescott parted ways with Adidas to become the only quarterback with the Jordan brand. He signed a five-year deal that makes him the highest-paid NFL player on Jordan’s roster.

Prescott’s use of Jordan cleats caught the eye of the national media at Cowboys OTAs, where all eyes were on the starting quarterback making his return from a broken ankle.

Prescott will be a full-go for Cowboys training camp, according to Head Coach Mike McCarthy, making the timing of this deal with Jordan a huge success for their branding within America’s Team.

Dak Prescott is the only member of the Cowboys currently sponsored by Jordan.

The Cowboys have looked to use their marketability as a selling point for players to take team-friendly deals in exchange for the exposure.

Dak Prescott deservingly broke this mold, landing his four-year $160 million deal in March before now signing with Jordan through 2025.

Dak Prescott’s deal was negotiated by his marketing agent Peter Miller of JABEZ Marketing Group and the Jordan Brand team, and they believe this ground-breaking deal creates a perfect marketing storm around the standout QB, the Cowboys and the Jordan Brand.

The Jordan brand may be just gaining traction with the Cowboys and Dak Prescott, but their presence in Dallas is just beginning.

This is thanks not only to the latest deal with Dak Prescott but also to the fact that Mavericks star Luka Doncic signed with the brand in 2019.

I agree VAM, the nfl is messed up really, the guys who make the most money in the NFL isn't Brady, it's Kirk Cousins and it's Sam Bradford, Jimmy G ( at least he justified it by getting to a SB) the players that make the most money are those who play the market right, hold teams hostage, even though they shouldn't have that right I feel a lot better about Dak being able to live up to his money than I would about Cousins , Bradford, or Jimmy G, but idk, in the words of Drake, "We'll see what's bout' to happen Next"

Being a DALLAS COWBOY really changes the dynamics, and DP is taking full advantage, BUILDING HIS "BRAND" ON LITTLE REAL RESULTS IN TERMS OF BIG WINS. If he were on a different team, no way would he be in this position. Now let's see if he can actually produce WINS for the team, meaning POSTSEASON WINS, which have so far in his career have pretty much escaped him, ONE IN FIVE YEARS! JJ may have gotten taken to the cleaners, if this team doesn't go DEEP into the postseason.
