Don’t Overlook Them

The one thing the Cowboys cannot afford to do is overlook this young football team.

The Packers are the youngest team in the playoffs this season. They are led by Jordan Love in his first full season as the Green Bay starter.

Love has the second most touchdown passes behind Dak Prescott, so he has played really well this season.

Run Defense

The Cowboys run defense is going to be tested by Aaron Jones and A.J Dillion.

We all know the biggest weakness of this Dallas defense is stopping the run. The Cowboys can not let the duo wear them down and allow the play action pass to open up.

Johnathan Hankins returned to the lineup last week for the Cowboys and you could see the impact of him being in there.

Take it with a grain of salt, it was the Washington Commanders, but the run defense did look a tad bit better.

"At the end of the day, this is my team. I'm a Dallas Cowboy, and I'm gonna do everything [I can] to win this game." – Mike McCarthy #Cowboys https://t.co/O7e6diUEZV

Look for DeMarcus Lawrence to continue to make a big impact in the run defense, they are going to need him against a nice backfield that the Packers have.

Offense Stay Hot at Home

Nobody scores more points at home than the Dallas Cowboys.

The Green Bay defense is not good. With all the success they have had this season, we can’t ignore that.

Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb have been the best QB/WR combo in football this season.

They are going to need to stay hot at home.

This team has won 16 games in a row at their place, and it shouldn’t change.

2014 and 2016 the Packers knocked the Cowboys out of the playoffs.

Both games were classics.

Aaron Rodgers is gone though, and Mike McCarthy is now on our side.

I don’t want to lose to them anymore, and honestly if the Cowboys find a way to mess this up, I will give up forever.

They very well have the easiest path to the NFC title game.

Two games at home, and you play the youngest team in the playoffs round one, and possibly an Eagles team or Buccaneers team in round two that are not good.

Everything is there for the taking for Dallas.

Prescott is playing the best football of his career, Lamb is ungradable, you have a game changing player in Micah Parsons on defense, and you are at home for at least two games.

This will be a tight game early, but the veteran leadership of Dallas will help them pull away at home.

Cowboys win this game 33-17.
