Best Images From Dallas Cowboys' First 2020 Practice

Dallas Cowboys football is back! Well..sort of back.

America’s Team opened up training camp this week, holding their first OTA-style practice on Friday morning. Out of the practice we got some great images – like finally seeing Mike McCarthy and CeeDee Lamb in Cowboys gear, and Dak Prescott rocking a visor and a red jersey.

Let’s dive into some of the best images from the Cowboys’ first official practice of the 2020 season.

Look at the head football coach right there. McCarthy coached his first practice with the Cowboys on Friday, rocking the long sleeves in some tenacious heat. Honestly, I expected seeing McCarthy in Cowboys gear to look a little weird, but he looks right at home here.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb needed one hand to make a first impression. Here is his catch (sequential images from @vernonbryant) and other Day 1 camp observations: https://t.co/AEUQkrfjNZ pic.twitter.com/MYic8SfahB

I don’t know if there’s more hype around any rookie than there is around Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. The Oklahoma product is already expected to eclipse 1,000 yards in his rookie season, something which is an incredibly rare accomplishment for rookie wide outs.

Lamb made the play of the day with the spectacular catch photographed above by Vernon Bryant. 88 just looks good on him, huh?

This final one may be my favorite picture of the whole day. First off, Prescott in the red jersey? That’s a new addition for the quarterbacks in Dallas which I know Inside The Star alumni RJ Ochoa is fired up about. But the visor look on both Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott is fire.

This dynamic backfield duo for the Cowboys is ready to take the league by storm again this season, and Elliott looks as in shape as he’s been since his rookie year.
